Located next to the West Lake, the Hangzhou Tower has always been one of the leading department stores in the country. In response to the changing market, it has constantly updated and improved itself in operation. The B1 floor of Building B in the Hangzhou Tower, which used to be a supermarket, has been re-planned as a high-quality leisure and service center to provide high-end catering services for its high-end customers. At the same time, there are also member centers and group-buying centers.

The biggest challenge of this project is that it is located in the basement without light and nature. In terms of design, the concept of exterior-in interior is adopted, and the landscape is implanted in the commercial public area with minimalism. In order to match the high-end tone of luxury goods and the newly introduced high-end catering, the landscape concept seeks a kind of ethereal and peaceful atmosphere instead of the usual lively commercial space.

In terms of expression, a peaceful shallow pool is created at the center of the space, with a serene pine tree floating on the water's surface to form a visual focal point. Then, the method of shifting scenery by stepping is employed, using columns to form layers of framing within the space. This way, whether in the restaurant, VIP area, or group buying center, one can enjoy the artificial scenery from different angles without obstruction and feel the essence of nature.
