SHIMAO OBSERVATION DECK

This is an observation deck project in the highest building in Fuzhou, Fujian. The main idea is to create an full experience from the B1 to the top floor.  Many media tools are used to explore difference sense in different height.

In the waiting area for ticket , in order to alleviate the boredom of waiting, changes in the sky can be perceived to sense the weather outside. Various entertainment programs on the upper floors can be seen on screens all around and the sound can be heard. On the observation deck, sound devices allow for the sound in the direction being viewed to be experienced.

In the spiral staircase leading to the top floor, a light and shadow VR device allows for an experience of the forest's bird songs and floral scents. On the top floor, interactive road surfaces and large-scale projections provide visitors with a powerful visual experience.
